Few days ago, i install a software from website search.imesh.com. After that the new tab url changed to http://www.search.imesh.com. Then I install the NetTabURL add on and set the url as http://www.google.com, even i restart it again, but when i open the new tab, it opens the same url as previous. What should i do for it?
@himanshu It may be either the imesh software reset your browser settings while loading. Try installing newtab addon first then imesh software. It may resolve the problem.

Fake Add on
@Awanish Singh Not sure what issue you are facing, but it works absolutely fine with Firfox. I am using this with Firfox 4.0.1.
Let me know if you face any problem with this.
This can be done easily.
Just install the ”’FEATURED ”’addon My Homepage
you can get it here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/my-homepage
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
Dear Sir
This refers to NEW TAB , i have installed NEW TAB URL and restarted FireFox , but still i am not getting NEwTAb URL OPTIONS like Homepage, Blank page, current page, URL
Please Help
@deepak
I am assuming that the add-on is installed properly.
Please do the following. (I did these in Firefox 11.0)
1. Go to Tools->Add-ons
2. Click Extensions
3. Click Options under NewTabURL add-on. If this is not enabled, you need to enable the Add-on which requires a restart of Firefox
4. You will get the dialogue box.
thanks
thank you for these last march 19th instructions! i had no idea where to find that screenshot you originally posted.
Just go to about:config, and find browser.newtab.url, right click on it and click modify. Then type the url of the page you want
Sorry chump, but this is a crap (fake) add-on that does nothing advertised. Not sure why you are still trying to convince others it actually works unless you have even bigger chumps actually sending donations before even trying this joke.
