Releasing Google Doodles on major events is a habit for Google. Not sure when are we going to get the new doodle for World Cup; but Google had already put something new this time.

When you search for ‘World Cup’ in Google, you will find the below picture at the bottom of the search page.

How to disable Google Suggest permanently?

January 29th, 2010 Vijay 1 comment

Google Suggest is a cool feature which offers similar to the one you are typing. It works as follows,

If you’re signed in to your Google Account and have Web History enabled, suggestions are drawn from searches you’ve done, searches done by users all over the world, sites in our search index, and ads in our advertising network. If you’re not signed in to your Google Account, no history-based suggestions are displayed.

But some times it displays some irrelevant topics and put you in embarrassing situation. Checkout this blog, googlelolz.com, for more  such weird suggestions

Here is the tip to turn off Google Suggestions permanently.

1. Visit Google Preferences page.
2. In the Query suggestions section, select Do not provide query suggestions

January 8th, 2010 Vijay 2 comments

I have been to London to spend the New Year holidays. Entire london was snowed with Google Chrome advertisements.

London streets, Tube stations, Train stations are the occupied with Google Chrome ads. The ads are quiet interesting and bit innovative too.

This trip to London gave me an impression that London is the brand ambassador for Google and Chrome.

Below are the few snaps taken during the trip.
