Anantha, this is not a bug. This was intentionly made.

    what was that intention?

I compared Google India page with Google.com and they are of same size? Any specific reason for reducing size of Google UK search box?

@Gopinath Google recently increased the size of the Search text box. When I capture the screen, the change was made to google.com but not for google.co.uk. I captured then so that we can visualize the size.

The point is that, UK text area was not reduced; it was just not increased : ) Now, all the search boxes are increased due to which you can’t find the difference.

However, I have updated the post with the referal link.
