How to control YouTube playback using keyboard shortcuts?

While watching YouTube videos, you may tend to skip to next 10 or 15 seconds. Also you would also like to go back to few seconds to repeat the same scene.

You might find it difficult to do this using mouse.

This tip would be useful when you watch videos on YouTube.

Arrows (computer keyboard)

You can control the movie playback using keyboard shortcuts. Using LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys you will move the flash player seek bar backward and forward.

This will be very handy when you watch the clips in full screen mode. Even in normal window mode this tip works as long as the focus is on the YouTube flash player.

Also you can Play/Pause the video using SPACE BAR in the keyboard.

Few more YouTube tips are here.

LOL! I didn’t know this was possible. I only just used those arrow keys to play snake pretty much on Youtube. But if at times though you encounter blocked or restricted videos on Youtube, you can just opt to use Youtube Mirror which will allow you to view, and even download, literally any video on Youtube that you want, plus even if the country you are from doesn’t allow such. Pretty neat if you ask me!
