Have you ever observed your fuel tank icon closely?

Fuel tank icon near your car’s fuel gauge, has an arrow indicating which side the fuel tank is on.

In some cars, the placement of the handle on a dashboard fuel tank icon indicates which side the vehicle’s fuel door is on.

This tip may help you in case if you use more than one car or when you use rental cars.

    Does not apply to 2001 Toyota RAV 4. The placement of the handle on a dashboard fuel tank icon DOES NOT indicate which side the vehicle’s fuel door is on.

    @Marc Yes, I got some mails from few more users on this. Yes, there are few exceptions; but very less.
