Twitter is down

I don’t use Twitter so often. Today morning (5:30 am GMT) I just wanted to catchup with my twitter followers and tried to login to twitter.

When I visited www.twitter.com, I got the following page stating that Twitter is down.

    Yes it was down till 7.25 am IST !!

    Actually they already specified about it on each page :) ..
    Twitter is down for some maintenance work.

    I am it’s member too but I rarely visit twitter :)
