Online Video Converter

May 16th, 2007 No comments

Recently I came across a site which provides us a smart utility which converts the Flash Video / FLV file (YouTube’s videos,etc) to MPEG4 (AVI/MOV/MP4/MP3/3GP) file online.

Yes you can convert your online movie clips to video files without using a third party software. vixy.net offers this service for free.

This service allows you convert a Flash Video / FLV file (YouTube’s videos,etc) to MPEG4 (AVI/MOV/MP4/MP3/3GP) file online. It is using a compressed domain transcoder technology (outline in Japanese). It converts FLV to MPEG4 faster and less lossy than a typical transcoder.

When you submit an url, it will download and convert to the video format. Then you can download the converted file.

FLV to MPEG4 Conveter engine is now OpenSource.

Just copy and paste your Youtube link (or others); select the output format and start the conversion. Wait for the file to be converted and download it.

Enjoy!!!

A small word of thought for what these adds on to our life……….

If A=1, B=2, C=3 and so on, then

H+A+R+D+W+O+R+K = 8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98%

K+N+O+W+L+E+D+G+E = 11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96%

L+O+V+E = 12+15+22+5 = 54%

L+U+C+K = 12+21+3+11 = 47%

None of them makes 100%

Then what makes 100%
Is it Money? ….. No!!!!!
Leadership? …….. NO!!!!

Every problem has a solution, only if we perhaps change our “ATTITUDE”.
It is OUR ATTITUDE towards Life and Work that makes OUR Life 100% successful.

A+T+T+I+T+U+D+E = 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100%

Interview Candidate – Wise Reply

Interviewer said “I shall either ask you ten easy questions or one really difficult question. Think well before you make up your mind!”

The boy thought for a while and said, “My choice is one really difficult question.”

“Well, good luck to you, you have made your own choice! Now tell me this. What comes first, Day or Night?”

The boy was jolted into reality as his admission depends on the correctness of his answer, but he thought for a while and said, “It’s the DAY sir!”

“How?” the interviewer asked,

“Sorry sir, you promised me that you will not ask me a SECOND difficult question!”

Do I still need to say that he was selected for IIM!

Understand the problem first

One fine day, a bus driver went to the bus garage, started his bus, and drove off along the route. No problems for the first few stops.

At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. Six feet height, built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to the ground. He glared at the driver and said, “Big John doesn’t pay!” and sat down at the back. Naturally, he didn’t argue with Big John, but he wasn’t happy about it.

The next day the same thing happened-Big John got on again, made a show of refusing to pay, and sat down. The next day also he said the same and this had become a routine. The bus driver, who started losing sleep over the way Big John, was taking advantage of him.

Finally he could stand it no longer. He signed up for body building courses, karate, judo, and all that good stuff. By the end of the summer, he had become quite strong.

So on the next Monday, when Big John once again got on the bus and said, “Big John doesn’t pay!,”

The driver stood up, glared back at the passenger, and screamed, “And why not?”

With a surprised look on his face, Big John replied, “Big John has a bus pass.”

Moral of the story: “Be sure there is a problem in the first place before working hard to solve one.”

My memorable SMS

March 2nd, 2007 1 comment

Memorable SMSThe following are few of the messages I received which can’t be forgotten.

When I was young god appeared and asked whether
I want a good memory or a great friend like you,
I forgot what I chose.

To handle yourself, use your head;
To handle others, use your heart.

If someone betrays you once, it is his/her fault;
If he/she betrays you twice, it is your fault

Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.

He, who loses money, loses much;
He, who loses a friend, loses much more;
He, who loses faith, loses all.

Learn from the mistakes of others.
You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself.
