Personal post after a long time. Photography is one of my hobbies; but I have never shown great interest. I have always had plans to purchase a DSLR but it never worked.
Got a gift today, a brand new DSLR Canon 550D. I unboxed it with too much of enthusiasm. It remembered my school days where I always had this excitement when I got my new Cricket Bat, shoes and Football.
As I am a newbie, exploring the features very slowly.
“Take a photo in DSLR in 100% manual when you don’t have internet” – I have read this somewhere. I wish to do this; not sure when.

Photo blog??? Yes, in mind… but it is too early to begin with.
I am SO jealous/ um, yeah… that’s a euphemism for HAPPY FOR YOU, yea- right. I was applauding for my kids at summer camp after video filming them and my digital camera took a 10 foot roll on the pavement. One word of advice. WRISTSTRAP! Well. Two words. WRIST STRAP. It sounded way more insightful as one word, but it was incorrect. Sheesh. Good luck and enjoy.
