Long long ago, so long ago (???) you would have used Orkut. Do you remember this social networking website?

I logged in to Orkut after a very long time to find one of my friends.

I got this blank doughnut box.

There is nothing to see here.

Alexa.com gives the decreasing trend of Orkut; not a surprise though.

Pinterest is a pinboard-style social sharing website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, hobbies and more.

Mininova was one of the popular torrent giants which was in top 100 ranks in Alexa.com.

On 26 Nov 2009, Mininova had made an announcement to reduce its services to content distribution. Due to these limitations, users are not able share the files across web as before. Hence the number of visits to Mininova site has gone down.

The website’s popularity has gone down dramatically on Nov 26/27 in Alexa.com. This is clearly visible on Alexa rankings. Check out the below picture for Mininova’s rank in Alexa.com in past three months.

If this trend continues, then Mininova will soon be disappeared from the web.
