“Keep Right” when you walk in the UK

UK is known for it’s Left Hand Driving system.

But “Keep Left” rule is not applicable when we walk in the UK.

Below are clicked at Bristol Parkway station which advise the passengers to “Keep Right”.

Even revolving doors in the UK goes anti clockwise to ensure “Keep Right” rule is followed.

Have you ever seen the calendar for the year 1752?

This year is so special in the history as this is the year when British Empire shifted to Gregorian Calendar from Roman Julian Calendar.

You can observe from the above image that the Wednesday, 2 September was followed by Thursday, 14 September in this year 1752; 11 days missing.

All the employees are given full salary for the month having just 19 days.

Thus we have got the first “Paid Leave”.
