This is the age of blogosphere. Now we have so many ways to be part of internet through blogs and social networking sites. There are many websites provides blogs and spaces and it is growing like anything.
But there were days where only very few offer such services to create sites. Yahoo GeoCities is one among them.
Now Yahoo GeoCities no longer accept new accounts. Yes, it is closing down. The message from GeoCities is given below.
Goodbye GeoCities
But not sure, what will happen to the existing accounts. It just says that “GeoCities will close later this year”. The following is the one given in Yahoo GeoCities help centre.
“Existing GeoCities accounts have not changed. You can continue to enjoy your web site and GeoCities services until later this year. You don’t need to change a thing right now — we just wanted you to let you know about the closure as soon as possible. We’ll provide more details about closing GeoCities and how to save your site data this summer, and we will update the help center with more details at that time”

It is a really a bad news to Yahoo Mail users. Yahoo planed to remove RSS Feeds from its All New Yahoo Mail. These RSS feeds will be deleted from Yahoo Mail and will be moved to MyYahoo.
This will definitely frustrate most of the loyal users of Yahoo.
My Yahoo has already has been filled with so many content gadgets. In my opinion MyYahoo will never be the alternate solution hold RSS Feeds.
Its always looks nice when we send some decorated mails to friends and relatives; especially on happy occastions, b’day wishes etc.
Recently I noticed that Yahoo Mail provides stationery for all yahoo users. (How did not I notice this feature?)
How to get this?
When you compose mail, you will find a button under the Subject field called “Stationery”.
Just click Stationery to get your mail stationeries. This is one of the featuer I always look for, from Yahoo Mail.
The below images will guide you to get this feature.
There are 46 stationeries available under six different categories. In addition to that, there is a huge list of Solid Colors you can use in your mail.
Are you still using the classic Yahoo interface? Now it is the time to switch to the rich Yahoo Mail interface.
